From this top 10 it emerges that West Brabant is highly popular with foreign investors. The West Brabant region has a total of 438 foreign companies. They offer employment to over 22,000 men and women . This makes West Brabant the leader as regards foreign locations in the province of  North Brabant. The municipality of Breda with 192 foreign companies (and 7,450 jobs) is the favourite place of business in Brabant. The foreign companies are mainly from Germany, the United States and Great Britain. The business community in the region is, in general, highly internationally-orientated. Proportionally, exports are high. 

Some 30,000 companies have choosen for a business location in West Brabant. Companies with familiar names in an economically-flourishing region. West Brabant is booming. As it has done for years now.  Companies in the processing industry, the food industry, the beverages and tobacco industries and in the logistics sector are particularly well-represented in this part of the Netherlands. More recently, their example has been followed by companies in the business/professional services sector, and in particular the call-centres, Benelux head offices and ICT companies. 

Dutch and foreign companies flourish in West Brabant. Without exception they are very positive about the region, as emerges from the following statements.
